About the Roo

Hi, my name is Sandi Butler.  My family and I live in Maleny, a gorgeous little country town, tucked away in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

I have always loved designing and creating. 

I also love to garden and spend time outside in our yard.  I find inspiration in the things around me.

Friends and family have encouraged me to produce my designs and share them. So in October 2007, with the encouragement of my wonderful husband, and sons, Embroideroo was launched.  I am so lucky and grateful to be working at something I love so much.  I look forward to the business growing, creating new designs and the challenge of new opportunities as they come my way.

Things I love:

Fabric (of course), embroidery, felt, anything red, cherries, dark chocolate, baking biscuits, markets, movies, anything funny or silly, gardening, nature, birds, walking our dog (Dash), tea with friends, vanilla, ginger, old fashioned roses, interesting tea-cups, lanterns.
